Kleenex Shine Absorbing Sheets

I've been in search of some shine-combatting products. This is the first of my wonderful discoveries.

Luckily, I found this little sample pack of 5 Kleenex Shine Absorbing Sheets in one of my cosmetics drawers. I can't remember where or how long ago I got this pack but after a week of using these little saviours, I know that I must buy more!

The pretty purple sheets come in a flat cardboard resealable pack and *thank you to Kleenex for pointing this out to me* can be easily picked up without dirtying them with your grubby paws by peeling back the tab on the inside of the packet so that it will do the job for you when you open the pack. What a great design!

The back of the sheet is patterned while the 'blotting' side is plain. Using a product has never been simpler; all you need to do is dab the plain side of the sheet gently against the area of shine on  your face.

I apologise for sharing my horrible face shine with you, I know it seems a bit gross, but there was honestly no other way of doing justice to how amazingly well this product works. As you can see in the photo above, I have used one finger to place this sheet against my skin but it has even picked up oiliness from the surrounding areas which it only brushed against. It's so effective! See for yourself:

My make-up has even stayed in tact! It's only very occasionally when my make-up has tended to 'clog' that the Shine Absorbing Sheets have had any make-up residue on them at all.

Although Kleenex claim that these don't disturb your make-up at all, when I wear heavier make-up on a night out, I will be carrying some powder in my clutch, just in case.

The full-sized pack of 50 sheets are around £2.99. I've yet to find them in my small local Boots and Superdrug stores but I will continue the hunt elsewhere. If all else fails, I have spotted them on Amazon with a small p&p fee.

21.07.2012 - I have since managed to get my hands on a pack of 50 in Savers for just £1.49. Very happy :) N xoxo
