Natalie Goodchild (“I” "we," "us," "our" or “Coach”) is committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information with care. 

Our Privacy Statement outlines and explains how we collect, use, disclose, share, delete and safeguard your information when you visit our website www.nataliejohanna.com & www.nataliegoodchild.com , use our services, or engage with us. This includes any details that can identify a person, along with any related information.

We manage personal information in accordance with the UK data protection legislation including the Data Protection Act 2018 (GDPR) and we are registered as a Data Controller with the Information Commissioner’s Office. We are responsible for your personal data (collectively referred to as “Natalie Goodchild, “we”, “us” or “our” in this privacy policy).

The personal information we may collect from you, through these different formats, includes but is not limited to:

  • Health Information (e.g. medical history, current health status, lifestyle habits)

  • Business Information (e.g. business name, occupation, objections, goals, challenges)

  • Payment information (for programmes and sessions)

We understand that any health or business related information you provide is sensitive and personal.

We do not share, sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information and data to outside third parties unless we provide users with advance notice with your expressed consent. 

We will only share your information with third party service providers where it is necessary for the delivery of our business, marketing and health coaching services. This includes, but is not limited to: 

  • Payment processors to pay for health and business packages (e.g Stripe, Paypal)

  • Scheduling platforms for meeting arrangement (e.g Calendly or Zoom)

  • Storage services for session notes (e.g Google Drive)

  • Website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website or serve our users (e.g Squarespace)

  • Legal and regulatory authorities when required by law

The services selected follow equivalent UK data protection standards and legislations. For instance, all data collected through Google Forms is securely stored on Google’s servers. All health and business notes and actions are collected through Google Docs. Google employs industry-standard security measures to protect your information. This information can only be accessed by the Coach and the assistant. 

Our website and email marketing is hosted using Squarespace who have their own privacy policy which you can view on their website. 

Processing your Data

Your data will be processed by your Coach and their administrative assistant solely for the purpose of service delivery, communication and program improvement.

Where additional data is collected for other purposes, such as testimonials or case studies for marketing purposes, we will obtain your consent separately.

Your data may be processed by The Coach and their administrative assistant. Your personal information will be kept strictly confidential. No unauthorised personnel will have access to your data.

Legal Basis for Processing Your Data

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in the UK, we rely on several legal bases to process your personal data, including:

Data retention

The Coach will retain your personal ‘health’ data for 7 years after our coaching contract ends. This period is required for insurance purposes. It also allows us to refer back to your information if we work together again, to review and improve our services, and to develop anonymized insights for marketing materials. After this period, any remaining data will either be securely deleted or anonymized unless further retention is required by law.

Your Data Security

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain and protect the safety of your personal information and data, including encryption and secure socket layer (SSL) technology. 

We also ensure that third-party service providers adhere to high security standards. However, please be aware that no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and while we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

If we become aware of a data breach, we will notify the relevant authorities and affected individuals in accordance with our legal obligations.
