Is your body trying to tell you something?

Many of us experience symptoms that donโ€™t have a clear cause or solution. We might seek answers, but often, weโ€™re left feeling frustrated, unheard, or stuck on โ€˜waitingโ€™; for appointments, for results, for symptoms to get worse. 

The truth is, your body isnโ€™t just being difficult. These symptoms are signals, telling you that something is out of balance. By listening to what your body is communicating and making changes, you can restore your health and have greater capacity to enjoy life.

Many people are experiencing symptoms that donโ€™t feel fully explained:

  • Skin issues like eczema, rashes or psoriasis

  • Digestives issues like IBS and food intolerance

  • Hormonal challenges like PCOS, menstrual issues or blood sugar dysfunction

  • Chronic stress, tension, difficulty resting or slowing down

And when weโ€™re dealing with these kinds of things, itโ€™s easy to feel like our body is working against us, and to feel frustrated that we canโ€™t figure out why.

But the good news is that many of the issues that we experience are preventable, manageable and even reversible

  • Understand and trust your body. Learn what your symptoms are telling you, reconnect to your intuition and learn how to work with your body, not against it.

Bringing your body back into balance often means looking at your health in a new way.

Many of us have focused primarily on the physical aspects of health. But to truly restore balance, we also need to consider emotional, mental, and spiritual wellbeing.

Our bodies are under constant stressโ€”emotional, mental, and physicalโ€”due to the demands of modern life.

By addressing health holisticallyโ€”removing sources of unnecessary stress and adding whatโ€™s missingโ€”we can create the right conditions for your body to maintain balance naturally; instead of having to make compromises that result in symptoms.

Sometimes, itโ€™s hard to see what needs to change. This is where a health coach can guide you back to your true, balanced self.

Health and wellbeing coaching takes a holistic approach

As a health coach, I help you:

  • Understand whatโ€™s going on in your body, by looking at all pieces of your life together (not in isolated parts).

  • Identify whatโ€™s keeping you stuck and what needs to shift.

  • Come up with a plan to achieve the outcome that you want.

  • Make changes that are personalised to you and your life.

  • Create plans and select resources and tools that meet your needs.

  • Set priorities and break changes into small steps that feel doable to you.

  • Feel supported, guided, and confident in your ability to improve your wellbeing.

  • Stay accountable to yourself and what you want to achieve.

For example, if you're dealing with skin and digestive issues, we wonโ€™t just cut out โ€˜triggerโ€™ foods, weโ€™ll focus on healing your gut and looking at the bigger picture, including stress, thoughts and emotions. If changing your eating habits becomes part of that picture, weโ€™ll find what works for you, whether thatโ€™s simple guidelines or a full meal plan with recipes. It's different for everyone!

Whatโ€™s the health coaching process?

Health coaching is a highly-personalised, collaborative partnership.

How we approach things - at what pace, and in what order - will be different for each person.

We will always:

  1. Look deeply at your journey so far, your lifestyle and ways of being, to find connections, gaps and starting points.

  2. Decide what changes to start making first, come up with a plan to do this and break that plan down into small steps that feel doable. Youโ€™ll then start making these changes or taking these actions between our sessions together.

  3. Constantly reflect on what works and what doesnโ€™t and why, and make adjustments to keep progressing.

Itโ€™s a journey fuelled by curiosity, compassion, and genuine excitement once you start to โ€˜get itโ€™!

Meet Natalie

With a combination of complex lived experience plus extensive research, education and training, I guide you to explore what is going on in your body, and make adjustments to start feeling better.

Since birth, I have had to manage a life-long chronic health condition that has been, at times, life threatening. But alongside medical treatments that kept me alive, Iโ€™ve used non-medical approaches to feel like Iโ€™m thriving.

Alongside my genetic condition, Iโ€™ve dealt with other health challenges, too. Iโ€™ve healed from IBS, recovered from burnout, and changed my career to save my health. Iโ€™m rewiring my nervous system and overcoming stress, anxiety, perfectionism, and hypervigilance. Iโ€™ve learned the impact that emotional states have on my physical health (and saw my diabetes disappear!) And so much more.

Iโ€™ve spent my ENTIRE LIFE being curious about what my body is capable of and how I can put it into a state of healing, which has all led me here, ready to guide you to do the same.

After our initial chat, I can advise on which package makes more sense for your goals and why.

We can personalise packages to your needs, including choosing a session cadence (frequency) that works for your lifestyle and the type of change that you are intending to make. Typically sessions are every 1-2 weeks.

You can also renew with me or shift to a maintenance plan after your initial package, to continue working toward the life you desire.

I offer single health coaching sessions under some circumstances.

Sessions are conducted online via Zoom. It may be possible for us to work together in person if you are local to the Guildford area.

  • Coaching someone requires the belief that person already has the answers they need. The role of a coach is simply to help them navigate to find it.

    If youโ€™re looking for a โ€˜formalโ€™ definition, this is how the UKIHCA describe it:
    "Health and Wellness Coaching is a client-led, collaborative process that aims to promote self-management, self-empowerment and equip an individual to adapt positively to their internal and external environment to create a state of resilience throughโ€ฆactivities and a lifestyle that cultivates their whole-health continuum."

  • Health coaching is NOT intended to:

    • Diagnose medical issues

    • Prescribe (medications, supplements, rigid plans, treatment pathways)

    • Be an authority - YOU are the expert on your body


    If there is something you need support with that is out of scope for health coaching, I will do my best to refer you on to an appropriate practitioner, such as a psychotherapist, nutritionist, physiotherapist or osteopath.
